What can you get with a residence permit in Turkey ?

According to Turkey's Migration Service Head Office and dated 23.05.2024, more than 1.125 million foreigners have residence permits in the country. Of these, 96,423 are Russians.

A residence permit is a document that legalizes a stay in the country. How can our compatriot get a residence permit in Turkey? And what can I get with a residence permit?

There are several types of residence permits in Turkey, which differ by purpose and duration of stay in the country:

The most popular among Russians is short-term, which is issued to tourists, property owners, those who come as part of educational exchange students and for scientific research, for training in Turkish language courses and other categories of foreigners.

With a residence permit, you can legally stay in the country for the period of its validity. Turkey has some of the lowest living costs compared to other countries.

Low-cost rent, as well as the possibility of family medicine along with Turkish citizens can get high quality medical services.
