Where Apple and Google employees teach their children

Did you know that Alanya's Oba neighborhood is home to Turkey's only full-cycle Waldorf School from kindergarten to high school? Since 2016, it offers a unique approach based on the philosophy of Austrian thinker Rudolf Steiner, combining academic knowledge with the development of creative abilities.

The main feature of the Waldorf methodology is the system of "epochs" - subjects are studied in-depth over several weeks, which allows children to focus and better absorb the material. An important part of the learning process is connected with art: children are engaged in painting, music, theater, which helps to develop imagination and emotional intelligence.

The classrooms create an atmosphere of coziness and natural harmony - soft colors, natural materials and ergonomic furniture promote comfort and concentration. Teachers stay with the children for several years, creating trusting relationships and providing emotional support.

In a Waldorf school, children are given the opportunity to learn at their own pace, without undue haste, in order to maintain their interest in knowledge and develop individual talents. Turkey is not only a vacation by the sea, but also access to quality international education for the whole family.
