Lower Duden Waterfall
The world-famous Lower and Upper Duden Waterfalls, located in Antalya, are separated by a distance of more than 15 kilometers. But both are worthy of your attention! The Lower Düden Falls is the highest freshwater waterfall flowing into the sea. Its maximum height in some places reaches 50 meters. Bursting streams of water, sparkling and shimmering, rush down from the cliff directly into the sea - an unforgettable sight!
Often in sunny weather you can see a rainbow over the waterfall. And in the evening, beautiful lighting is turned on around the perimeter. Floodlights illuminate the water, and many small lights glow on the rock itself. The waterfall is located in the Lara district in the public park "Duden" (entrance is free). The park has paved paths, benches, viewing platforms overlooking the sea, and playgrounds for children. The park itself is very clean and well-maintained, it is decorated with lawns, flower plantings and, of course, a variety of trees and bushes. Another unusual angle to view the waterfall is from the sky. If you try hard enough, you can see the waterfall directly from the window of the plane you are flying to Antalya, as the international airport is about 10 km away and flies over the waterfall when landing from the sea side.
