🔺 Turkey is expected to see an increase in the number of foreign tourists in 2024. In the first eight months, the number of visitors totaled 35.8 million - up 7.1 percent from the same period last year. In the summer, 2.7 million Russians visited the country - the number of trips was a record since pre-pandemic 2019. 

🔺 Turkey is among the top 10 most popular countries for travelers in 2024 according to Flight Centre. The study covered more than 170,000 travelers from around the world - Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and the UK.

🔺 Turkey's exports reached more than $22 billion in August. According to Turkish statistical institute TUIK, export volumes increased by 2.3 percent compared to the same month in 2023.

🔺 Turkey will become a rail transportation hub. The transport minister said many works are underway in the country to develop high-speed rail routes, increase the number of ports, industrial facilities and logistics centers.
