🔺 A copyright law on news content is pending in Turkey. A group of Turkish lawmakers has finalized a digital copyright law. It obliges to pay for the use of online publications created in Turkey. This was announced by the head of the Commission on digital media Huseyin Yayman, writes the newspaper Hurriyet.
🔺 Turkish exchangers stopped accepting old dollar bills amid the emergence of a large number of counterfeit banknotes with denominations of $50 and $100. ATOR advised Russians to buy new dollars for traveling. Turkish authorities are taking necessary measures to overcome the situation when local merchants refuse to change old-style US dollars.
🔺 From 2025, commercial vehicle owners who have not installed the Vehicle Recognition System (TTS) will not be able to refuel at gas stations. The new order, adopted by the Department of Treasury and Finance, is aimed at combating illegal fuel and reducing shady operations in the industry.
