Both are upscale neighborhoods in the center of Alanya
Oba (or Obaköy) is one of the districts of Alanya city in Antalya province, located about 140 kilometers from the center of Antalya.
- This district is located east of the center of Alanya and is bordered by Oba Caddesi (Oba Street) to the west, neighboring Tosmur and Kestel to the east.
- Oba is divided into three zones: the Lower, Middle and Upper parts.
- Lower Oba is the tourist area adjacent to the sea, where hotels, cafes, stores and residential buildings are concentrated.
- Middle Oba includes key infrastructure such as stores, schools and other important facilities.
- Upper Oba, located at the foot of the mountains, is being actively developed with new residential complexes and is more suitable for permanent residence.
- Lower Oba is directly adjacent to the sea, where Ataturk Avenue passes, and nearby is a beach about 3 km long with developed infrastructure: bike paths, sports fields and children's areas.
- Also in this area is Alanya's largest shopping center, Alanium, which borders the city center. Both are known for their orange orchards, which is reminded by a monument at the entrance.
Real estate prices here are higher than the average in Alanya, especially in new complexes, where the cost starts from €200 thousand for a 1+1 apartment. In areas remote from the sea, you can find housing at a price from €140 thousand. The cost of real estate in Obe has increased by almost 100% over the past year, and now the price per square meter ranges from € 1.5 thousand to € 1.8 thousand.
