Monuments of the Roman period in Ephesus

Ephesus is famous for its cultural and architectural monuments that attract tourists from all over the world.

Temple of Artemis

The main attraction of the city is the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This imposing marble building was surrounded by 36 huge columns and decorated with sculptures dedicated to the Greek goddess.

Library of Celsus
