Antalya Expo Center Park
Not many tourists know about this attraction in Antalya. It is the Antalya EXPO Exhibit Space. It is located at Solak, Alanya Yolu, Serik Caddesi Antalya Expo Center, 07119 Aksu/Antalya.
The International EXPO exhibition was held in Antalya in 2016. For this large-scale event, a number of facilities and a magnificent landscaped park with an area of more than a thousand hectares were built. Representatives of many countries of the world came to the exhibition. Each country had its own pavilion, and different Turkish provinces had their own pavilions. There were also conference halls, playgrounds, recreation areas, and a large greenhouse. The event passed, but the object remained.
After a while it became empty and a bit dilapidated. But order and cleanliness here continue to maintain to this day, there is a special staff. A very unusual and even surreal impression is made by a huge, once magnificent, but now deserted park. The central part of the exhibition space, the architectural dominant of the park, is a 100-meter tower with a viewing platform. It is built in the form of a flower of three petals and is still in operation today. For a small fee you can climb to the 18th floor of the tower, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area and the Expo Park itself.
Next to the tower there is a large artificial pond where fish still live. Then you can walk around the park and see the pavilions left after the exhibition. One of the most interesting among them is the Chinese courtyard. In its territory there is a traditional Chinese house, a pond with live carps and a gazebo surrounded by greenery and flowers. Here you will definitely feel peace and tranquility.
