Dim Magarası is one of the largest caves in Turkey with a rich history, dating back about a million years. It was discovered by researchers in 1986 and opened to tourists in 1998. Legends and myths surrounding this place connect it with the ancient civilizations that supposedly lived here.

The cave stretches for 410 meters and consists of four large halls, each with unique features. "Shell Hall", "Organ Hall", "Natural Pool Hall" and "Lake Hall" are filled with stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over millennia, creating bizarre shapes.

The most impressive stalagmites reach a height of 15 meters, and artificial lighting enhances their grandeur, creating an impression of mystical reality.

Features of the cave

One of the main attractions is the underground salt lake, located at a depth of about 17 meters from the entrance. The lake covers an area of about 200 square meters, and its clear waters are said to have healing properties, attracting tourists from all over the world.

The cave is equipped with convenient paths and bridges, about 360 meters long, which allows you to comfortably move around its territory. Inside, a stable temperature of about 18 degrees Celsius is maintained, providing pleasant conditions for a visit at any time of the year.
