Cesme Peninsula

The Cesme Peninsula and the town of Alaçatı is still a little-known gem of Turkey's Aegean coast among the Russian public.

The resort is mostly favored by the bohemian crowd from Istanbul and Izmir - even English is not often heard here.

Alacati does not resemble classical Turkey at all - there is a Greek atmosphere everywhere. Bright stone villas, courtyards of restaurants drowning in flowers, olive and pomegranate trees on the streets, a lot of atmospheric boutique hotels, beach clubs and bright turquoise sea are unlikely to leave indifferent. While here, you can also visit the Urla wine region.

Cesme Peninsula is located five hours drive from Istanbul on a super-modern highway. You can also get here by flying to Izmir by airplane.
